I find it interesting when people in professional careers decide not to act professionally in public. Well, more specifically, when those people choose to be racist and expect no one to find out who they are. Fortunately, people are dedicated to ensuring that people like that don’t have any place in the workforce. One woman in Ohio was fired from her workplace after a receipt she signed at a Mexican restaurant was revealed to be filled with hateful nonsense.
The video describes the actions of a woman who had visited a Mexican restaurant in Ohio. For some reason, she didn’t like the idea of Mexican people working at a Mexican restaurant. So, instead of leaving the servers a tip, she left a hateful message at the bottom of the receipt followed by the amount of her check written out. At the very bottom of the receipt, she crossed out her name in hopes of this situation not making its way back to her. Unfortunately, that isn’t how receipts work. She even tried to lie and say that it wasn’t her who used the credit card to pay.
“Then she tried to lie and say her card was stolen to try to cover her tracks. ๐๐ Yeah. Ok. Stephanie.”
A second copy of the merchant’s receipt made the rounds online, showing off the woman’s true colors and name. It wasn’t long before the image went online that it was discovered she works at Century 21 as a real estate agent. Well, after several concerned people sent messages to the real estate conglomerate, it was revealed that she actually is no longer affiliated with the brand.
This isn’t the first time someone acted atrociously under the impression that they wouldn’t be found. That just means her actions make even less sense, considering she had so much to lose. When you visit her profile page on the Century 21 website, it’s been completely wiped and cannot be reached.
