An impossible scene played out in an Ohio neighborhood when a man was spotted on the hood of his girlfriend’s car while the car was in motion.
A video posted on Reddit captured a movie-like scene between two disgruntled lovers. From the context given in the caption, the lady stole her boyfriend’s wallet and refused to give it back even after being repeatedly asked for it.
One thing led to another, and the lady got in her car, most likely in an attempt to leave. However, her boyfriend jumped onto the hood and held on tight. Rather than stop, the woman continued to drive around the neighborhood at a high speed while her lover was hanging on for dear life. Despite the dangerous situation, he was not yelling or shouting; instead, he was gripping the hood as tightly as he could to avoid falling off.
The Ohio woman drove up and down the streets in the neighborhood and could be seen taking a sharp turn into a complex. There, she reportedly came to a hard stop in an attempt to shake her boyfriend off the car.
The poster stated that the chase had been ongoing for a while and was “endangering lots of drivers” in the neighborhood. As a result, the poster had to call 911 to intervene. “Gotta give credit to the guy, he held on the whole time. Cops came and sorted it out,” the caption read.
Users in the comment section found the incident equally hilarious and dangerous at the same time. Some commended the man for not shouting in fear, while others hilariously likened the scene to something out of a Mission Impossible movie.
One user wrote, “The pure silence from the guy too – he’s not yelling, he’s just going for a ride.” Another user added, “Definitely seems unbothered like he’s used to this kind of stuff 😂😂.”
“That’s crazy that he’s able to hold on so long. Like Mission Impossible level,” a user commented, while another referred to the scene as “comedy gold.”
One person jokingly wrote that the way the car bounced sharply towards the end of the video really “brings it all together.” Someone else commended the man for his “strong grip,” and another hilariously wrote that his grip was still not firm enough to guard his wallet.
Yet, another pointed out that the woman’s actions could amount to “attempted murder when you get down to it.”
Notably, the poster wrote that while the cops de-escalated the situation, he wasn’t sure who got into trouble, the man or the woman. However, he pointed out that he saw the man taking out his trash later on.
