An Ohio woman may have gotten more than she bargained for when she ordered a double cheeseburger at a local McDonald’s drive-thru. After receiving her food, she claims that she and her very pregnant friend opened it up to find that one of their burgers had a bite taken out of it. Of course, they went back to the drive-thru in order to get things cleared up, but instead, things took a nasty turn.
In a video of the encounter that was posted to TikTok, the woman tells the Ohio McDonald’s employee about what she found when she opened her cheeseburger. However, the worker wasn’t convinced. Instead, she claimed that it’s unlikely anyone took a bite of her sandwich. Instead, she claimed that their bun machine was on the fritz and had been taking chunks out of the bread.
“The machine took a bite out of the sandwich?” the customer asked. “It’s a bite with teeth marks,” she continued. The employee countered with a strange question, asking, “Was it wet?”
Ohio McDonald’s Employee Uses R-Word After Being Accused Of Eating Customer’s Food
The customer then had enough, using profanity and telling the employee that she sounded “dumb.” Then the worker shot back with a slur, using the R-word out of anger.
While the employee was obviously in the wrong for using offensive language, many people on TikTok believe that the customer was likely lying about a bite being taken out of her burger.
“Why are yall mad at her she didnโt do nothing to you yall came at her disrespectful af,” one person commented. “They definitely trying to pull a fast one,” another person stated. “I call bullsh–,” another agreed. “Girl.. ask for another one or get a refund? Tryna argue with her for what? Over a SANDWICH,” a fourth social media user chimed in.
TikTok Isn’t Buying The Story
It’s a roll of the dice every time you eat food that someone else has prepared. When it comes to fast food, you never know what you’re going to get. Whether it’s cold french fries, a soggy bun, or receiving the wrong order. However, you never expect to see a bite taken out of your sandwich.
If an employee at the Ohio McDonald’s did take a bite out of the burger, they should be punished for their actions. However, if the internet is right, and the customer was looking to score some free food, it’s pretty low to record the interaction and post it to social media for all to see. Either way, the employee was out of line for her choice of words.
