While not everyone who drives a Ram or Ford is arrogant and obnoxious, some people do indeed set the precedent for the stereotype pretty well. And a prime example would be an Edmond truck driver in Oklahoma who missed his turn on the road and decided the best course of action would be to take a detour, straight through someone else’s front yard. Not only is this incredibly rude, but it’s also downright criminal to potentially damage someone’s property for convenience’s sake.
Feeling mildly infuriated about what had happened, the yard’s owner posted the security camera footage of the Ford truck driver plowing through the lawn of the home. Granted, it’s winter, so the grass is more or less dead, and the area he drove over didn’t have any flower beds or other plants. But the tires of the truck and the attached trailer are bound to leave a long-lasting mark, on top of just being quite a heinous thing to do.
“Dang, right in front of Santa too. Good way to get on the naughty list,” remarked a Reddit commenter, referring to how the driver went right past the Christmas decoration near the front door. “Ok, it was just a little– are you [expletive] kidding me?” exclaimed another. “What douchebag behavior,” growled a third. “Ofc it’s a guy with a big [expletive] pickup,” says a fourth. “To make things worse, he’s even towing a trailer with a buggy. Today isn’t the day the allegations are beaten.”
Usually, some time passing and rain can somewhat repair the tire marks on the grass. But considering it’s winter now and the weather’s quite dry, the lawn damage from that truck driver might be there for a bit longer than desirable. That said, going to the police about the matter would be overkill for such a minor problem, so, truly, dealing with some random, careless individual plowing through your yard is most definitely mildly infuriating.
