Amber Rose has revealed who her candidate is for the upcoming presidential elections. On Monday, the rapper took to her Instagram page to endorse presumed Republican front-runner, Donald Trump. Rose uploaded a photo of herself posing with Trump and his wife, Melanie, at a black-tie event. She captioned the post, “Trump 2024,” alongside three U.S. flag emojis. Unfortunately, the post angered fans, who took to the comments section to bash the television personality. Recall that Rose has long been an advocate for women’s rights — creating Slutwalk in 2015 in an effort to end rape culture and victim blaming. As such, fans saw her endorsement of Trump as hypocritical, given his multiple sexual harassment allegations and his being instrumental in abolishing Roe v. Wade.
Old Tweets of Amber Rose Criticising Trump Resurface
Amid the ongoing Amber Rose and Donald Trump drama, old tweets of the model opposing Trump have emerged. The Shade Room reposted Amber Rose’s old tweets, which date back to 2017 and 2018. In one of them, Rose heavily criticized Trump and even used derogatory words on him. In one of the tweets, she posted a photo of an overflowing trash can, dubbing Trump the garbage at the Women’s March in LA.
“Trump thinks he’s slick, showing up to the Women’s March in LA😒,” she captioned the photo.
Rose referred to the politician as a sexual predator while ranting about a different issue in another tweet.
“Mannn f*** that fact that he’s old and f*** the fact that he was on TV😒 He is a sexual predator just like Trump and Harvey! (I hope they get their days as well),” Rose wrote.
Not long after, Amber Rose’s old tweets sparked a wave of mixed reactions. Some fans criticized Rose for her actions, while others pointed out that it was normal for people to evolve and change their political views.
