Olivia Dunne has now clocked over 25 million views for a jaw-dropping gymnastics display pinned to the top of her TikTok feed. The LSU gymnast, 21, reminded fans of her skillset at the start of 2022, delivering beam swings and mid-air somersaults that now come accompanied by a strict warning.
While fans may have fun recreating the blonde’s signature leotard look, it appears that anyone with an amateur status is heavily advised not to “attempt” the moves Olivia delivered so flawlessly. Dunne is followed by 8 million on TikTok. Combined with her 5.2 million followers on Instagram, this makes the New Jersey-born sensation the most-followed NCAA athlete on social media.
Olivia Dunne Shows Off Gymnast Skills On TikTok
Opening as she struck a pose from her bed, Olivia cocked her head to the side while flaunting her toned figure in a skintight leotard in purple and gold. “So you’re an artist?” a voice read, with accompanying text echoing the vocals. “Yea, are you good at it?” the voice continued.
The post quickly switched to a stadium setting where Olivia was filmed flipping around a super-high beam as she showed off her incredible strength. Flashing her muscular legs and highlighting her upper body strength, the blonde eventually let go of the bar as she catapulted toward the ground, delivering multiple somersaults on the way and landing steadily on her feet.
In an amusing caption that made light of her impressive display, Olivia wrote: “Meh.”
Fans Warned: ‘Do Not Attempt’
The video now comes with an “i” warning from TikTok. “The actions in this video are performed by professionals or supervised by professionals. Do not attempt,” it reads.
Olivia may come with a celebrity status, a Sports Illustrated Swim portfolio, and an endless array of promotional deals, but the star hasn’t abandoned her first true love.
On her official website, the Vuori Clothing partner introduces herself with an immediate mention of the sport she competes in, writing: “I started gymnastics when I was three years old because I wanted a sparkly pink leotard. But, little did I know what an exciting future was ahead of me. When I was five years old, I was invited to try out for the pre-team at my gym ENA. Once I started competing, I knew I had a passion for the sport.”
Olivia’s Instagram is followed by Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin and retired golfer Paige Spiranac. She also frequently gets likes from Olympic gymnast Simone Biles.
