This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

So, you touched a weird chromatic revolver in Once Human, and now you have to deal with a cheating clown in a giant toddler room. Needless to say, the Carnival of Doom quest or event in Once Human is a weird surprise. You’re practically trapped in that surreal room with Chuckles the Clown of Once Human. You won’t get the reward if you don’t figure it out. So, I recommend following this guide for Carnival of Doom in Once Human to get the last laugh from Chuckles the Clown.

Where to Find Carnival of Doom

Head over to the Junkyard, west of Meyer’s Market. I recommend you go there at Level 10+ as the enemies are somewhat difficult since they’re Rosetta personnel.

Once you’re in the Junkyard area, head to the Rift Anchor and enter the nearby large gray and red-brick building where train carriages are stored. There should be a platform there with several Rosetta soldiers standing guard over an odd revolver. Kill the Rosetta enemies and touch the revolver; let it take over.

You’ll then be transported to an alternate dimension where Chuckles the Clown will force you to play Russian roulette.

Immediately, you’ll start noticing that Chuckles will always keep winning no matter how many times you restart your attempt.

There’s no need to keep repeating this loss; Chuckles is cheating. Here’s what you’ll want to do to progress:

  1. Ignore Chuckles, activate Spacetime, and head behind the stage, and look for a black wire.
  2. Follow the black wire to its outlet. Also, make sure you see the other clown hiding behind the glass pane in a control room to trigger the dialog with V.
  3. Return to Chuckles and tell him you need some air. This will open the big red door behind you.
  4. Head to the big door and follow the corridor to the spot where you saw the other clown in the control room.
  5. Kill the other clown with a backstab, then interact with the control panel.
  6. Return to Chuckles and play Russian roulette with him again; choose to pull the trigger.
  7. Once Chuckles is defeated, make sure to ‘Secure’ the reward.

Apart from the crate near the revolver, you can also get the following by completing the Carnival of Doom or the Chuckles the Clown quest in Once Human:

  • Voodoo Doll Deviant
  • 200x Energy Link
  • 500x EXP
  • 7x Stellar Planula
  • 1x Eclipse Cortex Lv.2

Make sure to save those Stellar Planula for Severin and his Starchrom Crates. Also, the Voodoo Deviant is great for tanking damage especially against enemies with ranged attacks.
