The long-awaited NieR: Automata DLC for Stellar Blade is finally here, and some curious players have already discovered an easter egg involving 2B’s skirt. For the unaware, this paid DLC brought outfits from the legendary Square Enix game, most of them from 2B, A2, and other YoRHa members. However, it seems that one specific costume does something similar to what everyone’s favorite android did in Automata. If you’re curious, you can do it too. And don’t worry, there isn’t an achievement tied to it, so no one will judge you.
According to user GodRazz on Reddit, if you look up 2B’s skirt, which is one of the NieR: Automata outfits in the Stellar Blade DLC, Eve will kick the camera away. This is surely a reference to NieR: Automata, where a similar thing happened with 2B. If you tried to look up her skirt, she’d push the camera away. It could also be a reference to what Kainé did in NieR Replicant, where she’d also kick the camera away if you looked at her from certain questionable angles.
Of course, people responded quickly to this situation in ways the whole community is proud of.
Others have even asked about the possibility of an expanded DLC with added functions.
While that last part doesn’t happen in the game, many fans would eagerly pay for that DLC, or even better, wait for a mod that does that once Stellar Blade launches on PC. And again, not judging at all.
So far, players have been happy with the recent NieR: Automata DLC for Stellar Blade, and these little details just show that both studios involved in the crossover understand the audience enough to put in such an iconic easter egg. It’s uncertain if there are more things in the game with the recent additional content, but for now, these outfits are more than enough to encourage players to go another round with this fast-paced action-adventure game.
