Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will be releasing for Xbox One and PC March 11th.
Posted on the official Xbox website, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will come packed with additional such as new areas, more story sequences, additional difficulty modes, fast travel options and new abilities to name a few. A new theater mode is being added that will highlight the game’s unique art styles “Not only will you be able to view all of the cut-scenes, but now you will be able to see early concept material from the game, trailers, and some other really cool content in theater mode.” said Executive Producer Mark Coates.
If that weren’t enough, the definitive edition will also come with some behind-the-scenes bonus material and an entirely new playable area titled Black Root Burrows, that will have players dive deeper into the lore of the world “There is a great story sequence throughout Black Root Burrows where you’re discovering the past of Naru, the mother character,” said Coates. “You discover her roots, where she came from, and you learn a bit more about her as a character and why maybe she is compelled to do some of the things that she does later on in the game. It’s all interwoven with the already-existing story.”
Ori and the Blind Forest is already available for Xbox One and PC.
