Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will be releasing for Xbox One and PC March 11th.

Posted on the official Xbox website, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will come packed with additional such as new areas, more story sequences, additional difficulty modes, fast travel options and new abilities to name a few. A new theater mode is being added that will highlight the game’s unique art styles “Not only will you be able to view all of the cut-scenes, but now you will be able to see early concept material from the game, trailers, and some other really cool content in theater mode.โ€ said Executive Producer Mark Coates.

If that weren’t enough, the definitive edition will also come with some behind-the-scenes bonus material and an entirely new playable area titled Black Root Burrows, that will have players dive deeper into the lore of the world “There is a great story sequence throughout Black Root Burrows where youโ€™re discovering the past of Naru, the mother character,” said Coates. “You discover her roots, where she came from, and you learn a bit more about her as a character and why maybe she is compelled to do some of the things that she does later on in the game. Itโ€™s all interwoven with the already-existing story.โ€

Ori and the Blind Forest is already available for Xbox One and PC.
