Despite several setbacks this season, with rising and falling COVID numbers, Saturday Night Live (SNL) is returning to TV soon. According to a report from Deadline, actors Oscar Isaac and Zoe Kravitz will host SNL in March. It will be the first time either actor has served as the host for the sketch comedy show.
Oscar Isaac will host SNL early in the month, on March 5th. Joining him will be Charli XCX as the musical guest. Charli XCX was initially scheduled to perform on SNL back in December for Paul Rudd’s show. However, rising COVID numbers saw her reschedule her appearance for next month.
Zoe Kravitz will host SNL the week after Isaac on March 12th. She will be accompanied by Rosalia, who will serve as the musical guest. The March 12th show of SNL will be the first time both Kravitz and Rosalia have appeared on the program.
SNL recently went into a break after January 29th’s show, which featured Willem Dafoe as the host and Katy Perry as the musical guest. SNL will return to NBC on February 26th with John Mulaney as the host. It will be Mulaney’s fifth time hosting the series. Joining him for the February 26th show will be LCD Soundsystem as the musical guest.
Oscar Isaac and Zoe Kravitz will both be appearing on the show not only to have a good time but to promote similar superhero projects. Isaac will be promoting the upcoming Disney+ series Moon Knight, which he leads as Moon Knight. Kravitz will be promoting the latest rendition of a Batman movie, The Batman, which stars Robert Pattinson as the caped crusader and Kravitz as Catwoman.
