Now is both a trying time and the perfect time to make your way through some of the last few year’s best titles. Playstation and we at TheNerdStash have you covered by suggesting the very best titles and deals in the Mega March Sale. This will only be our select few, but the entire list can be found right here.
RPGs on PlayStation:
RPG fans are rewarded heavily with this sale, promising huge amounts of loot and even bigger creatures. Starting us off with 35% off is perhaps PlayStation’s best exclusive, Bloodborne. Its dark, hard, and overall fascinating. Here’s our review. Make sure to check it out. Following this up from the indie sphere is Banner Sage Trilogy. This offers tons of content, Lovely visuals, and a great narrative at 60% off. Another such RPG with stunning visuals, music, and narrative is that of Indivisble at 37% off. These both offer a smaller scale in return for something more compact and pretty. Monster Hunter: World and its Iceborn edition attempt to blow that out of the water. It achieves that wonderfully. This is nicely followed up by the monstrously large mega pack of Skyrim Special edition and Fallout 4 GOTY at 66% off. In this selection, we’ve offered huge open-world RPGs and tight narrative-focused experiences. Pillars of Eternity 2 is both, and now 33% off. Finally, no list on RPGs would be complete without the near-flawless Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Now 70% off in the Mega March sale.
Shooters on PlayStation:
Maybe RPGs aren’t your style? Perhaps, shooters offer a more cathartic head exploding experience. Not to worry, Little old me has you covered (sorry for the pun). Starting us off is the impeccably smooth RAGE 2 at a whopping 70% off. Featuring ludicrous powers and even more ridiculous guns, what more is there to want? Maybe you want a little more “yeehaw” in your gunfights? Farcry 5 offers this and so much more at 78% off. If all of this doesn’t appeal to you, you are very picky. Not to worry, we have you sorted with the old school feeling delight, Wolfenstein II, Now 67% off.
Action/ Adventure on PlayStation Sale:
Action/ Adventure is a wonderfully broad set of words. It can range anywhere from Hack and Slash to a set-piece filled shooter. Luckily, we have both. Devil May Cry 5 made waves last year as a return to form for the series and a clear game of the year contender. Luckily, it can be found for 50% off right now. Following up on the set-piece as mentioned above, the shooter is the revolutionary Uncharted: Drake’s fortune remastered. Available at 33% off. Also just because the genre is so broad and I don’t know where to place it, check out Life Is Strange at 79% off
Driving on PlayStation Sale:
Driving games, be it of the arcade or simulation kind, offer something special. They offer one of life’s most mundane activities and make it exhilarating. The Project Cars Bundle has this and manages to look somehow far better than real-life driving. Not half bad at 66% off. Project Cars offers a lot of cars, obviously. If you fancy more of a motorbike experience, Ride 2 offers 170 of them. At 80% off, this is the joint largest discount out of every game featured.
Horror:
Nothing makes you feel more alive and in the present than heart-pounding fear. Luckily, this sale has lots of this. Starting us off is perhaps one of the most iconic games of all time, Resident Evil. This time it’s HD and lovely, in a gruesome way and a full 75% off. Following this is another 2019 GOTY contender, and what a fantastic title it is. Resident Evil 2 Deluxe edition is phenomenal and 50% off, just in time for 3. Here are our thoughts on 2. Finally, in Horror is the wonderfully weird and solemn SOMA. Taking inspiration from Alien, Dead space, and their previous title, Insomnia, this can guarantee a multitude of scares. It’s also 80% off in the Mega March Sale
Family:
If you live in the same house with family, its no doubt you are probably in need of a little escape. These titles can come in handy, distracting the kids or whining at your family as “it’s their fault you didn’t win.” Either way, Overcooked 2 is a wonderful title. It is charming, cute, and fitting for the whole family. It’s also a whole 40% off. Following this up is the strange family GTA, Lego City Undercover. It’s occasionally very witty and strangely fun, given its premise. Just try not to play it too much without the kids. At an excellent 75% off, it’s hard to say no
And that’s our choice for the best games on the PlayStation Mega March sale. We’ve made sure to include a mixture of genres and hundreds of hours of playtime. Stay safe and enjoy
