Overwatch 2 is set to bring a host of exciting changes to the beloved hero shooter, including a rework of the Lifeweaver class. Players eagerly awaiting the release of Lifeweaver rework will be pleased to know that the developers are hard at work tweaking and balancing the support character abilities.
Overwatch 2 Lifeweaver Rework Updates
The Lifeweaver hero is one of the most popular healers in the game. In Overwatch 2, the developer aims to change that by introducing several balance changes and buffs to Lifeweaver’s abilities.
Her Healing Blossom is one of the most significant changes to Lifeweaver in Overwatch 2. It will receive a buff to its ammo capacity, increasing it to 20 from 12, and the slow effect will now take effect one second after the ability is fully charged. Thorn Volley will also receive a balance change, with its spread tightened to make it more effective at hitting targets.
Additionally, Tree of Life, one of Lifeweaver’s ultimate abilities, will also see some changes. Its health has been increased to 1200 from 1000, and the per pulse healing has been boosted to 75 from 50. These changes should make the ability more powerful, allowing Lifeweaver to provide significant healing to her team during crucial moments.
One notable change that players may have mixed feelings about is the removal of Parting Gift. This ability allowed Lifeweaver to leave a trail of healing behind when she used Guardian Angel to fly away from a teammate. While this ability was useful in certain situations, the developers have decided to remove it from the hero’s kit to make room for other changes and balance adjustments.
