While Palia offers many activities, from fishing and unique events to building your own home, quests are one of the most essential parts of your adventure. After all, in addition to increasing the friendship level with NPCs, you can learn a lot about the game world. However, not all quests are integral to the plot, and you can find them quite by accident. One of these quests is Half Boiled, which you will get by finding a recipe page at the docks. Luckily, you won’t have to go far to complete the Half Boiled quest in Palia.

To start and complete the Half Boiled side quest in Palia, you must head to Kilima Village and find two recipe pages on a wooden pier off the north coast of Fisherman’s Lagoon. You can complete this quest at any stage of your progress in the game. You only need to pick up the first page to the right of the fishing stall and the second one near the barrels on the far side of the pier. The order of the pages does not matter. Once you have matched both pages, you will receive the Palian Onion Soup recipe as a reward.

How to Cook Palian Onion Soup in Palia

Cooking Palian Onion Soup does not require a lot of money and effort. Yet, it is a good source of Focus in the early stages of gameplay. You only need to complete a couple of NPC Reth’s introductory quests to increase your cooking to level 2. Once you have met this requirement, you will receive a Prep Station and Stove and can move on to cooking. To cook Palian Onion Soup in Palia, you only need to collect three ingredients:

  • Onion x1 – You can get Onions by purchasing seeds from the General Store, planting them on your farm, and harvesting them after four days
  • Flour x1 – You can buy Flour in the General Store for 10 Gold
  • Wild Garlic x1 – You can find and collect this material between the grass in Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay. Alternatively, you can buy this ingredient from the General Store

The cooking process will take only one minute, after which you will receive three servings of this meal. Eating one Palian Onion Soup will restore 100 Focus, and since it doesn’t sell for much Gold, that’s the best use for it. Time to chow down!
