Want to get close to a dead-eyed fish monster from the Echo realm? You’re in luck: the Void Ray wants to be your friend. Actually, the Void Ray wants to mind its business in a creepy cave, but that’s not very helpful to you. The Void Ray is one of the most unsettling fish you can catch in Palia, but it’s still a valuable one. You want quick cash? Get angling. You’ll also need to get your hands on it to complete the Spooky Bundle, so tracking down this scary swimmer is important. Here’s how to find and catch the Void Ray in Palia.
Where To Find Void Ray in Palia
(Updated on March 26th, 2024 – updated pictures and clarified catching process)
You can find the Void Ray in Pavel Mines in Bahari Bay. It’s a good idea to upgrade your fishing skills in Palia and get your hands on a Fine Rod before trying to catch a Void Ray, however. That’s because this demonic denizen of the deep puts up a fight, and if you’re using a Makeshift or Standard Rod, you’ll probably run out of health before catching a Void Ray. You’re also going to want to use Glow Worms, as they’re essential for attracting this fish. You can get Glow Worms in the following ways:
- Get them from Zeki’s Wondrous Machine
- Buy them from the Fishing Guild Store
- Grow them on Glow Worm Farms
A Standard Void Ray sells for 375G, while a Quality one sells for 562G, but even if you’re not looking to sell, you’ll need one for the Spooky Bundle. To complete that bundle you’ll also need a Garden Mantis, Vampire Crab, and Mutated Angler. If you want to keep a Void Ray as a trophy, you’ll need a medium 5×7 aquarium to keep it in. Why you’d want this freaky fish staring at you is another story.
Palia is available for PC and Nintendo Switch.
