Catching butterflies, catching fish, and catching feelings are all staples of life in Palia. When you aren’t unraveling archeological mysteries or cooking a scrumptious dish, you’ll often be winning the hearts and minds of the locals. Like your other friends in Kilima Village, Einar won’t open his heart to you right away. You’ll need to gradually deepen your relationship with the lanky Galdur by helping with various tasks. Upon reaching Friendship Level 3 with him, you’ll receive a new Friendship Quest: the Pebble. Here’s how to help Einar with his precious pebble situation in Palia.
Palia Einar’s Pebble Guide

After talking to Einar and starting the Pebble quest, you’ll learn that he’s found a Shiny Pebble he wants to take home. The problem? He wants to keep fishing and can’t bring himself to leave. Fortunately, he has a friend like you who can help him pursue his passion while saving his precious stone. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Get Einar’s Key and the Shiny Pebble from Einar
- Follow the map marker to reach Einar’s Cave (pictured above)
- Enter the cave and go to the second room
- Interact with the shelf to place the Shiny Pebble there
- Return to Einar to complete the quest
The Place Pebble you receive reportedly has no use other than to just exist as a quest item. Inside Einar’s Cave, however, you can find several readable Fishing Logs as well as the Trout Dinner recipe. If you’re looking to round out your culinary options, make sure to grab the recipe while you’re inside. For completing the quest you’ll receive Glow Worm x10, Shimmerfin x1, Renown x25, and increased Friendship with Einar. Not shabby for walking a pebble home.
