Paris Hilton has become the face of MSCHF x Crocs Big Yellow Boot, flaunting the iconic fashion piece on social media. Notably, long before Barbiecore became a thing, Paris Hilton embraced the Barbie fashion trend, giving a nod to the pink-centric doll in several of her outfits over the years. One of her most memorable Barbie embodiments was the pink lowcut dress and furry Barbie-branded handbag she rocked to watch Britney Spears perform in Las Vegas in 2001.
Paris Hilton Channels Her Inner Barbie in MSCHF x Crocs Photoshoot
In her latest Instagram post, the songstress gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the creation of the promotional photos that have taken the internet by storm. The video has had fans raving with excitement, as they crown Paris Hilton as the real-life Barbie.
In the clip, the 42-year-old looked steamy hot clad in a yellow bodysuit, and stockings. She had her hair styled into a ponytail for a fiercer effect. The video began with Paris posing in a squatting position in the “Sliving-printed” suit, with her hands together, before she turned dramatically, and kicked into the air. As her foot hit the ground, the crooner underwent a transformation into another yellow outfit. The ensemble featured a yellow-cropped tracksuit, sunglasses, and the giant footwear, first unveiled last month at the Paris Fashion Week.
In her new look, the songstress began striking various poses, with the screen switching between colors for a dramatic effect. The soundtrack of Nicki Minaj’s “Barbie World” played in the background, adding spice to Paris Hilton’s already daring video. She captioned,
“Our favorite Barbie it-girl for @MSCHF big yellow boots. #ThatsHot #iconic #MSCHF.”
The Big Yellow Crocs Keeps Giving
The post sparked wild reactions from fans. Many pointed out how well Paris Hilton passed for the fictional cartoon character, Barbie, in her promotional outfit. Some opined that the mom of one would have been better suited for the titular character played by Margot Robbie in the 2023 blockbuster, Barbie. One commenter wrote,
“Should have asked you to play Barbie for the Barbie movie.”
Another commented,
“Barbie in real life. Like, don’t play with her.”
Others aimed their comment at the Big Yellow Boots by MSCHF x Crocs, which is an updated version of the brand’s Big Red Boots. The fashionable piece, which has racked up mixed reviews, hits the market on August 9, for a whopping $450. With Paris as its frontwoman bringing on her Barbie vibes, the fashion item is off to a good start.
