Paris Hilton was one of the celebrities directly affected by the Los Angeles fires. Earlier this week, she watched her home get destroyed on live TV. After evacuating the area with her husband, Carter Reum, and their two children, Phoenix and London, Hilton returned to Malibu to inspect the damage for herself. She shared footage of the wreckage on Instagram and it’s heartbreaking.

The Aftermath of the Los Angeles Fires

Paris Hilton’s Malibu home has become unrecognizable due to the Los Angeles fires. In a 20-second-long video, the star walks through the remnants of her home to find everything burnt to the ground. There’s no roof and the walls, which are now covered in ash, have all toppled over. A few embers can even be seen still flickering among the wreckage.

“I’m standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable💔🥺,” Hilton wrote in a lengthy message on Instagram. The heiress said that when she saw footage of her home on live TV she was in “complete shock” and “couldn’t process it.” However, seeing the damage in person has made everything real. “Standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces😢💔,” she said.

Hilton continued by saying that her house was more than “just a place to live” because it was where she “created the most beautiful memories” with her family. “What breaks my heart even more is knowing that this isn’t just my story,” she added. “So many people have lost everything.”

Despite her situation, Hilton said that she’s grateful that her family and pets are all safe. She thanked the firefighters, first responders, and volunteers for “risking their lives” fighting the Los Angeles fires. She also gave a shout-out to everyone who reached out to her over the past few days. Finally, Hilton ended her message by speaking directly to “everyone who is hurting right now.”

“We’re in this together. We will rebuild, we will heal, and we will rise stronger than before,” she said.

Celebrities Express Sympathy For Paris Hilton

Several celebrities have expressed their condolences for Paris Hilton after she lost her home in the Los Angeles fire. Jessica Alba, Gwen Stefani, Kristin Chenoweth, and Gigi Gorgeous all commented messages of support underneath the star’s Instagram video.
