Paris Hilton is excited to become a mom in due time as her IVF journey draws close to an end. The media personality who tied the knot in 2020 has been open about her plans to put her baby-making dreams on hold for a while after her marriage. And with her and her husband Carter Reum marking their first wedding anniversary last month, the couple feels ready to expand their family.
While attending The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Gala on Wednesday, December 7, the star granted an interview with People. She shared an update on her IVF journey and plans to have a baby soon.
Paris Hilton explained how she and her husband, Carter Reum began the IVF journey at the height of the coronavirus pandemic. She considered the lockdown the perfect timing, as it offered her a chance to slow down her work-packed schedule and focus on the process. The businesswoman recalled telling her husband,
“‘This is perfect timing. Usually, I’m on a plane 250 days out of the year, and let’s just get all of the eggs stocked and ready,’ and we have tons of them just waiting.”
It Was Worth The Wait
Paris Hilton also explained why she and her husband, Carter Reum failed to welcome kids earlier despite commencing the IVF journey long before their marriage. According to her, they resolved beforehand to enjoy their first year of marriage as a couple before adding kids into the mix.
Now that the two have already checked that on their boxes, they looked forward to 2023, when they plan to welcome their bundles of joy. While this would mark the beginning of Paris Hilton’s motherhood journey, her husband Carter is already a parent, having welcomed a daughter with former partner Laura Bellizzi.
Notably, the delay in welcoming kids for the couple has raised concerns recently, especially after Paris’ mom Kathy Hilton revealed the media personality was dealing with infertility struggles. The star has since stepped forward to debunk her mom’s claims, stating she and her husband consciously decided to take their time.
Notwithstanding, fans look forward to seeing the 41-year-old finally become a mom and raise her brood alongside her beloved husband.
