We all knows that sports can be pretty intense, especially when you’re on the losing side of a game, but Patrick Beverley‘s actions have proved to be more than just “problematic.” He reportedly assaulted the opposing team’s fans with a basketball at the NBA Playoffs, and proceeded to be downright disrespectful and rude to a female ESPN reporter. Talk about being a sore loser. Twitter/X users are commenting their thoughts on the matter, and it’s definitely not positive. Beverley, Milwaukee Bucks guard, showed not one, but two acts of his wild arrogance and aggression in the same day.
Patrick Beverley Proves That He’s a Sore Loser At NBA Playoffs
It all started on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at the NBA Playoffs when Beverley’s team, the Bucks, went up against the Pacers and didn’t quite get the outcome they were hoping for with a losing score of 98-120. Beverley, despite his teammates comments about never seeing him like that before, absolutely lost it on some Pacers fans in a display of outright rage.
“Patrick Beverley needs to be suspended & fined $ignificantly for that classless act. Perhaps 5-10 games to start next season & hopefully that woman he hit will consult a lawyer to see if she can press charges against him. What a jerk,” comments an upset Twitter/X user.

Yet, more and more upset sports fans continue to file in with comments about what they think should happen to Patrick Beverley following this incident.
“Another overly sensitive Professional athlete. Beverly is going to get a severe suspension,” says another user.

It seems there’s little hope for a comeback in Beverley’s case at this point. He very clearly took it too far, and fans aren’t going to forget it anytime soon.
Patrick Beverley Refuses a Reporter Because She Doesn’t Sub to His Podcast
To top it all off, Patrick definitely wasn’t just overly toxic during the game, but also in the aftermath during press interviews. Beverley asks a female reporter if she subscribes to his podcast, and when she said no, he made her leave the circle. This left people in a bit of an uproar, especially following his assault during the game.
“If you’ve subscribed to Pat Bev’s podcast (God help you), now is the perfect time to unsubscribe,” says one Twitter/X user.

Twitter users are urging fans to unsubscribe from his podcast in just about every other comment, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Beverley’s subscriptions drop in volume by a decent amount.
“As a media member I will say this…He does have a right to refuse to answer…But if there is media availability and the locker room is open he can’t tell her she can’t record him…Especially over a subscription to a podcast…In the NBA media guidelines that ain’t in there…” another says.
