While attending an interview with CBS Mornings on Friday, NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes went candid about his opinion of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance. He also divulged details about his wife Brittany Mahomes’ friendship with the crooner, which invariably influenced his perspective. He divulged,
“She’s top-tier at her profession, and to see how she drives and she becomes that… it’s really cool to hear about and to see, and now I have a first-hand look at that through Brittany and Travis’ eyes.”
Speaking on the early stages of the Traylor romance, Patrick admitted that the Chiefs team had their reservations at first. Hence, they decided to stay away and let Travis Kelce “do his thing” with Taylor. As the days went by, they began to see the singer in a new light thanks to the Kansas Chiefs tight end’s decision to have his girlfriend around. Patrick revealed that this marked a turning point in his and the entire team’s relationship with Taylor. He quipped,
“He started bringing Taylor around, and he realized how cool of a person she was, and she is, and so for us, there were a couple of jokes here and there at the beginning.”
