A Pennsylvania Wendy’s restaurant was the scene of some major drama recently. It all started when a customer went through the drive-thru to get her order. After receiving her food, she claimed that the employee working the window attempted to take her change and steal it by sticking it in her own pocket. She then began confronting the fast food worker about the incident, but the employee denied any wrongdoing.
Even though the drive-thru customer did get her change, she didn’t want to stop at that. When she didn’t get the response she wanted from the employee and the drive-thru window was shut in her face by another employee, she decided to take more action. Of course, it was all caught on video and posted to TikTok.
The customer eventually parked her car and opted to go inside the restaurant to confront the employee, and that is when things got even more dramatic. The customer began screaming at the Wendy’s employees as two more co-workers came to the defense of the accused worker.
Pennsylvania Woman Accuses Employee Of Trying To Steal From Her
As the customer continued to yell and make a scene, she was asked to leave and the accused employee freaked out. She appeared to be overstimulated and started screaming and jumping up and down while also hitting the sides of her own head.
Some people on TikTok came to the conclusion that the employee may be neurodivergent and that the customer’s yelling and accusations were too overwhelming for her.
“Worker is clearly neurodivergent and this customer verbally attacking her was unnecessary,” one person stated. However, others weren’t convinced. “There’s not enough context to determine what’s going on here,” said another.
“Guys stop assuming the workers is autistic, you don’t know her. You can’t diagnose someone from a single video. And I’m not excusing name calling, but the customer has the right to be mad and to ask for names. That is policy, you HAVE to give your name when asked so customers can report properly. And the money should be nowhere near anyone’s pockets,” a third comment read.
Meanwhile, in a follow-up video, a person claiming to work at that same Pennsylvania Wendy’s location revealed that the customer in the video was trying to start trouble, and has been a problem in the past. In addition, the worker at the center of the video also allegedly reached out on TikTok and revealed that the customer did get her money, and that she accidentally put it in her pocket before taking it back out and giving it to her. She also claims that the customer was forced from the restaurant by “paramedics.”
It seemed to be an unfortunate incident, and perhaps both Pennsylvania women learned something from the situation.
