A recent Persona 3 Reload leak has revealed only days ahead of the remake’s official launch that Atlus has plans to release multiple DLC additions to the game in the future. One of those DLC additions will contain The Answer, an epilogue story that was added to the FES version of the original Persona 3, and something fans were very disappointed to learn wouldn’t be included with the base version of Persona 3 Reload.

This information comes from a very credible leaker within the Persona/Shin Megami Tensei community known for reliably giving early information on the announcement of Persona 3 Reload as well as Persona 5 Tactica in the past. The leaker revealed not only that Atlus plans on adding The Answer as DLC, but that the developer has plans to release multiple DLC additions within this fiscal year.
Unfortunately, while this news may logically lead many fans of the original game to assume that Atlus may have plans to add Persona 3 Portable‘s female protagonist Kotone Shiomi as part of one of these DLC additions, the leaker also states in their final tweet that “There is no [Kotone] in any of the DLC, this includes cosmetics and music that will be added in part of this DLC.”
That is a sad asterisk on this news, but at a very minimum, it is great to see that The Answer is likely coming, considering it is what many consider the “true ending” to the Persona 3 story.
