Recent info from a reputable leaker claims that Persona 6 is nearly complete and should launch sometime in 2025. The leak also claims that the newest entry to the popular Atlus JRPG franchise will receive DLC similar to Persona 5 Royal or Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance that adds new characters and more story. Persona 5 was released worldwide in 2017, and since then, the series has only received remakes, ports, and spin-off games, leaving fans desperate for any information about the next official installment.
Persona 6 Leaked Launch Window
The Persona 6 news comes via a forum post on the website Resetera, a place frequented by leaker “Head on the Block.” The leaker, previously known as “I’m a Hero Too” recently posted this latest information in a lengthy response that also includes information about the rumored Square Enix Final Fantasy 9 remake and a small shot thrown toward fellow reputable Atlus leaker Midori.
Head on the Block writes “[Persona 6] is a fully featured semi-open world game, it’s 95% complete and is releasing next year with DLC.” Atlus has been consistent about releasing games yearly in the Shin Megami Tensei/Persona series, including 2023’s Persona 5 Tactica and both Persona 3 Reload and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance in 2024, so it’s not unbelievable that they would have a major release lined up so soon after an already packed year.
While we’d highly suggest taking this leak with a pinch of salt, it’s worth noting that Head on the Block previously gave concrete information about Persona 3 Reload and its release window prior to any official Atlas information about the recent remake.
