Petey Gibson, Fivel Stewart, and Bre Blair have been added to Alert, an upcoming procedural drama on Fox. The three new cast additions to the upcoming police drama have been added to recurring roles alongside series’ leads Scott Caan (Hawaii Five-0) and Dania Ramirez (X-Men: The Last Stand).
Written by The Blacklist showrunner John Eisendrath, Fox’s new series Alert will center around the police officers of the Philadelphia Police Department Missing Person’s Unit, or MPU. Described by Deadline as a “character-driven police procedural”, each episode will follow a new missing person’s case and a high-risk search to find the victim that mirrors Jason Grant (Scott Caan) and Nikki Batista’s (Dania Ramirez) desperate search for their missing son. Ryan Broussard (Only Murders in the Building), Adeola Role (Blue Bloods), and Graham Verchere (Stargirl) will also star as Mike, Kemi, and Keith, respectively.
What We Know About the New Additions to ‘Alert’ on Fox
Petey Gibson will be joining Alert as C, the head of the MPU’s forensic imaging unit. Described by Deadline as “part forensic anthropologist, part art student”, C is a shy, timid person who is more comfortable among the dead than most and highly dedicated to his craft. Based out of Boston, some of Gibson’s previous roles include appearances on NCIS: New Orleans (2021), Grace & Frankie (2019), and For The People (2018).
Fivel Stewart will be joining Alert as Sidney, Jason and Nikki’s daughter, who is described as “a confident, engaging young woman” and “well-adjusted and full of life”. The older sister of Jason and Nikki’s missing son, Sidney will likely have a front-row seat to a complicated family dynamic. Some of Stewart’s previous roles include Izzie Taylor in Netflix’s Atypical (2018), Jai Mathis in T@gged (2018), and Jane in “The Girl Who Loved Horses”, an episode of the new AppleTV series Roar.
Bre Blair will join Alert as June, Jason’s newest relationship who desperately wants a family of her own, according to Deadline, but is having trouble conceiving a child with Jason. A highly-organized person, June strives to organize her own life as well as Jason’s. Some of Blair’s previous roles include Lauren in Life Sentence (2018), Jennifer Ripley on ABC’s Station 19 (2019), and Annie Kay in the Paramount series S.W.A.T. between 2017 and 2022.
Fox’s new series Alert is the latest work from John Eisendrath and Jamie Foxx, who serve as co-showrunners and executive producers for the series alongside Datari Turner, J.R. Orci, Adam Kane, and Michael Offer. The series will be produced by Sony Pictures Television and Fox Entertainment and will be available on Fox and Fox Now.
