There are few YouTube stars more well known then PewDiePie. While you may not personally like his YouTube channel, it is hard to deny his presence in the YouTube gaming space. And just recently, Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg recently hit an impressive YouTube milestone. As of September 6, 2015, PewDiePie is now the first and only YouTube channel to hit 10 billion views.
PewDiePie tweeted out today:

The second and third most subscribed YouTube channels after PewDiePie (according to Wikipedia) HolaSoyGerman and YouTube Spotlight, boast two billion and 600 million views respectively. PewDiePie is way ahead of the pack, by at least 6 billion views. That is an insanely high amount of views, considering the fact there are 7 billion humans, and he has 3 billion more then that. All those views have reportedly earned PewDiePie’s creator a substantial income, grossing more than $4 million from PewDiepie in 2013 and more than $7.4 million in 2014.
As time goes on, it will be interesting to see if PewDiePie continues to retain the massive success he currently has today. Regardless, it is highly unlikely that there will be another YouTuber who will surpass his spot anytime soon. Let us know what you think about the news in the comments below!
