One of the biggest indie hits of 2020 was Phasmophobia, a game that puts you and three players in the shoes of ghost investigators. This game has you going to several locations to find clues about several ghosts, hoping to discover which one you’re dealing with. It quickly became a hit, and many more people started playing it. With a development team starting with just one person, Kinetic Games has grown and added many things to this fantastic title. From new maps to VR support, Phasmobia kept surprising fans with every update. Today, the developers behind the game have announced a PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PSVR2 version for Phasmophobia.
PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PSVR2 Versions of Phasmophobia Launching in August 2023
There’s no specific date for the Phasmophobia PS5, Xbox Series, and PSVR2 versions other than August 2023. The trailer says it’ll provide early access on consoles, so a full release might take a while. It is uncertain if the game will have a lower price during early access, but many think that will be the case. While the game is already pretty solid in its PC version, we think it might still need a bit of polish during the first months of its console release. In any case, this is a game that everyone should try at least once.
