We’ve all head about irresponsible parents, but this is going a bit too far. While we’ve all seen teenagers rolling around in expensive cars lately, some are overkill, and unnecessary for people at that age. Why? Well, most just want to show them off, and in the process of doing so, they tend to endanger those around them. And guess what? Something like that just happened. A recent video recorded in Plano, Texas, shows a group of teenagers wrecking a Ferrari in broad daylight. Naturally, everyone started judging the parents who gave a teenager a car like this.
The original video comes from user world24x7hr who shared it on the USAx24x7 subreddit and even found its way in many Texas online communities. In it, we can see a group of teenagers standing next to a Ferrari vehicle in Plano, who wrecked it in broad daylight. We can also see another car that got damaged. However, it seems the Ferrarri took the biggest hit.
So far, it seems all people came out unscathed from the collision. The authorities and those involved didn’t report any injured people, so it seems the only damages were material. However, many are questioning the parenting skills and just the fact of teenagers driving around a Ferrari at probably high speeds.
“A teenager ain’t got no business in a Ferrari.” – Wheres_Jay via Reddit.
“Any parent who buys their inexperienced kid a high performance sports car is the very definition of a sh*tty parent.” – keyak via Reddit.
On the other hand, some Redditors believe the kids took out the car without permission. It could be a situation of the parents having a cool car, leaving the house for a while, and the teenagers sneaking out with it. Regardless, it’s going to be an expensive matter to solve.
In any case, parents and authorities should be more careful and watch out for these inexperienced drivers. Fortunately, the collision wasn’t fatal, but not everyone is as “lucky” as the ones involved in the accident.
