Fasten your seatbelts, PlayStation folks. Play At Home is coming back with a lot of ways to play more games!

PLAY AT HOME MARCH

Yes, you heard right! Sony’s Play At Home Initiative is returning once again for a collection of free games and offers to all PlayStation users. Play At Home was first introduced to us last April in the wake of COVID as a means of thanking players for sticking to isolation rules at the time. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey were offered for free as an incentive to stay home and social distance.

Play At Home 2021

Via the PlayStation official blog, it was announced that Play At Home would be coming back. A fourth-month venture starting from March until June. The initiative will kick off March 1, and this is what users can expect to see during March.

PlayStation and Insomniac Games will make Ratchet & Clank PS4 available for free download for a limited time through PlayStation Store from March 1 at 8pm PST / March 2 4am GMT / 5am CET  to March 31, 2021 at 8pm PDT* / April 1 4am BST / 5am CEST – Jim Ryan President & CEO, Sony Interactive Entertainment

Starting from March 25, PlayStation Users will receive “extended access for new subscribers to Funimation or Wakanim in countries they are available.” This is a nice little incentive for anime fans out there.

The blog post mentioned that these offerings are just “the beginning of what’s in store for Play At Home.” In the coming weeks, they’ll share more details on “free games and entertainment offers dropping for our PlayStation community.”

I’m excited to see what offers are given to us in the coming months. It’s a lovely incentive for PlayStation users and hopefully will aid in keeping players safe during these trying times.

However, what do you think? Are you excited to get hands-on with Ratchet & Clank PS4 when it launches free this March? Let me know in the comments below!
