Sony has officially revealed the free games for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers for November 2024, and it’s another strong month for fans of DeathNote, horror, and racing games. The lineup will be available to download from Tuesday, November 5 to Monday, December 2, 2024. The free games can be accessed by anyone who is subscribed to PlayStation Plus Essentials, or a higher tier.

Not all the games will be playable on both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 since one of the titles is going to be exclusive to PlayStation 5.

PlayStation Plus Essential Games For November 2024

  • Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged | PS4, PS5
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo | PS5
  • Death Note Killer Within | PS4, PS5

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged | PS4, PS5

If you enjoy racing games, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged might be a good fit. It has over 130 vehicles, including some originals. You can upgrade vehicles through a skill tree that can improve their performance. To top it off, you will have access to a Track Editor so you can make your own race tracks and share them online.

Ghostwire: Tokyo | PS5

Ghostwire: Tokyo comes from the recently disbanded Tango Gameworks. It places you in a ghost-infested Tokyo, while you fight for survival. The game didn’t do that well commercially upon release but did get a fan following soon after. While the chances of seeing another game like this are slim to none, the Hi-Fi Rush IP was recently acquired by Korean video game developer Krafton.

Death Note Killer Within | PS4, PS5

Coming in as a day one PS Plus game, Death Note Killer Within will seem very familiar to you if you have played games like Among Us or Deceit. It puts you in control of one of 10 players, and the point is to use social deduction to defeat the opposing team. The teams are Kira and L, and finding the Death Note plays a major role in winning, so it will not be exactly like other games in the genre.

Before you claim the PlayStation Plus Essential games for November, remember that you only have until November 4 to collect last month’s games which are WWE 2K24, Dead Space, and Doki Doki Literature Club Plus. PlayStation Plus fans also recently got an extra early access playtest of Monster Hunter Wilds, which will soon be followed by another that will be available on all platforms.
