Sony has officially revealed the free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers for September 2024, and it’s another strong month for fans of Harry Potter, Baseball, and horror. The lineup will be available to download from Tuesday, September 3 to Monday, September 30, 2024. The free games can be accessed by anyone who is subscribed to PlayStation Plus Essentials, or a higher tier.

Luckily, all the games coming to PlayStation Plus Essential tier in September will be playable on the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5, which isn’t always the case. Overall, this seems to be another great month for subscribers.
Quidditch Champions | PS4, PS5
Coming in as a day one PS Plus game, Quidditch Champions finally puts you on the brooms of students of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry who can play the wizarding world’s favorite sport, Quidditch. The best game set in the Harry Potter world, Hogwarts Legacy, did not have Quidditch in it, which was sorely missed by fans.
MLB The Show 24 | PS4, PS5
This one needs no introduction, as anyone who is a fan of baseball has already either played it or wants to. MLB The Show 24 came out in March of this year and was quick to come to Sony’s subscription service. It’s a must-play for anyone who is a baseball fan and is subbed to the service.
Little Nightmares II | PS4, PS5
One of the most unique horror series that puts you in the shoes of a little girl wearing a raincoat in a world of horrifying monsters and even worse people. The first game was a success, and the second one tops it in every way. The third installment is on its way, but was recently delayed, hopefully, this will hold you off until then.
Before you get too excited about the PlayStation Plus Essential games for September, remember that you only have until September 2 to collect last month’s games which are LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, FNAF Security Breach, and Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights.
