The PlayStation Plus games for December 2021 may or may not have been leaked before their official announcement. According to a report from Dealabs, The PlayStation Plus games for December will be Godfall: Challenger Edition for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Mortal Shell for PlayStation 4, and LEGO DC Super Villains for PlayStation 4.
Over the past year, Dealabs has reported multiple accurate predictions for PlayStation Plus releases. So, the likelihood of these being the official games are very high.
Godfall was basically one of the launch releases for the PlayStation 5, and it showed off the graphical possibilities of the new system. “Aperion is on the precipice of ruin. You are the last of the Valorian knights, god-like masters of melee combat equipped with legendary armor sets called Valorplates. Ascend in Godfall, the first-of-its-kind, looter-slasher, melee action-RPG.”
Released in August 2020, this December PlayStation Plus pick takes players on a dark journey. “Mortal Shell is a ruthless and deep action-RPG that tests your sanity and resilience in a shattered world. As the remains of humanity wither and rot, zealous foes fester in the ruins. They spare no mercy, with survival demanding superior awareness, precision, and instincts. Track down hidden sanctums of devout followers and discover your true purpose.”
Sometimes it’s fun to be the villain, and this PlayStation Plus game lets you test that theory. “It’s good to be bad… Embark on an all-new DC/LEGO® adventure by becoming the best villain the universe has seen. Players will create and play as an all-new super-villain throughout the game, unleashing mischievous antics and wreaking havoc in an action-packed story.”
As of this writing, there has been no word on when the official announcement for the PlayStation Plus December picks will drop. When the news becomes official, PS Plus subscribers will then have from December 7 until January 4 to add them to their library.
As of this writing, the PlayStation Plus games for November 2021 are still available. Knockout City and First Class Trouble are available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, while Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is for PlayStation 4. To celebrate PS VR‘s fifth anniversary, there were also three VR games available for free: The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners and Until You Fall. Subscribers have until December 3 to download these titles for free.
