The PlayStation Plus games for January 2022 may have been leaked before their official announcement. According to a report from Dealabs, The PlayStation Plus games for January will be Deep Rock Galactic and Dirt 5 via PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, while Persona 5 Strikers will be available via PlayStation 4.

Over the past year, Dealabs has reported multiple accurate predictions for PlayStation Plus releases. So, the likelihood of these being the official games are very high.

As of this writing, Deep Rock Galactic has not yet been released for PlayStation, but it was set to come to the console next year. It is currently found on Steam and Xbox, and reviews have been great. “Deep Rock Galactic is a 1-4 player co-op FPS featuring badass space Dwarves, 100% destructible environments, procedurally-generated caves, and endless hordes of alien monsters.”

Originally released in November 2021, Dirt 5 is a fan-favorite racing title. “With brand new features and breathtaking action, DIRT 5 creates a vibe that delivers big on epic racing, pure expression, and unbridled style. Master over 70 routes in 10 global locations. From ice racing in New York to the marble mines of Italy, to twisting through the favelas of Brazil, conquer dynamic weather and hazardous terrain across all corners of the world.”

Last but certainly not least, Persona 5 Strikers may be the last free title for PlayStation Plus’ January titles. “Join the Phantom Thieves and strike back against the corruption overtaking cities across Japan. A summer vacation with close friends takes a sudden turn as a distorted reality emerges; reveal the truth and redeem the hearts of those imprisoned at the center of the crisis!”

As of this writing, there has been no word on when the official announcement for the PlayStation Plus January picks will drop. When the news becomes official, PS Plus subscribers can start to add them to their library on January 5th.

As of this writing, the PlayStation Plus games for December 2021 are still available through January 4th. Godfall: Challenger Edition is available for PlayStation 5, while Mortal Shell and LEGO DC Super Villains are for PlayStation 4.
