PlayStation often has some surprises in store for fans who subscribe to PS Plus, but this month is a real banger. Indeed, when the company decides to bring out the big guns, it is an instant jackpot for everybody. For January, PlayStation Plus will bring God of War Ragnarök and Like a Dragon Gaiden. But wait, there’s more!

The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for January includes:

❄️ God of War Ragnarök
💴 Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
🏜️ Atlas Fallen: Reign Of Sand
🤖 SD Gundam Battle Alliance
💜 Sayonara Wild Hearts

…and more. The full lineup: https://t.co/SqwCZlQFcC pic.twitter.com/XKkjmm9hYq

God of War Ragnarök brought a Game of The Year Award to Santa Monica Studio. It’s one of the crowning achievements from a Sony studio, continuing the epic tale of Kratos and his son with even higher stakes than the first game. Ragnarök is a real blockbuster, and if you haven’t yet played it for whatever reason then your January just got busy.

Like a Dragon Gaiden, meanwhile, is one of the most recent games in the Yakuza saga, where Kiryu is still the main character. It’s a must-play regardless of whether you’re a fan of the series or not. Trust me when I say it’s hugely entertaining.

Elsewhere, SD Gundam Battle Alliance, Orcs Must Die 3, and ANNO: Mutationem, will have versions for both consoles. Then, Atlas Fallen: Reign Of Sand will be available with its PS5 version compared to Sayonara Wild Hearts and Poker Club, which only have a PS4 version.

Meanwhile, for PlayStation Plus Premium, the catalog will add Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings and Medievil II, which have PS4 and PS5 versions, respectively. The year is just beginning, and PlayStation is doing its best with these great installments. However, remember that the catalog has even more options for every type of player. Plus, you can look forward to more fantastic games in February; with the subscription, you’ll never be without games. Besides, many other great games from big companies await you in the catalog.
