Sony has come out with a very unexpected announcement, PlayStation The Concert, which is a live show on a physical stage that has music from the extensive PlayStation history. As for what the show will include, it will have music originally written by Gustavo Santaolalla for The Last of Us, Joris De Man who worked on Horizon, Ilan Eshkeri who made the music for Ghost of Tsushima, and of course, Bear McCreary who made the iconic tunes for the God of War reboot.
While we won’t see Kratos shredding on guitar or Nathan Drake massacring some drums, Sony promises state-of-the-art production quality which has thrilling music, cutting-edge visuals, and some fan-favorite games to make the experience memorable.
So far the only dates announced are for Dublin in April 2025, and the the UK with six different events. PlayStation The Concert will take place throughout 2025, and into 2026 as well. We don’t know exactly when and where, but we do know it will be taking place in over 200 different cities all over the world.

- April 21, 2025: Birmingham Utilita Arena
- April 22, 2025: Manchester Co-op Live
- April 23, 2025: Leeds First Direct Arena
- April 24, 2025: Newcastle Utilita Arena
- April 25, 2025: Glasgow OVO Hydro
- April 27, 2025: London OVO Arena Wembley
If you want to get your hands on some tickets, keep an eye out on the official website when they go on sale on October 16 at 7 AM PT or 3 PM BST. Like other concert tickets, these will likely sell out pretty quickly.
As for what the concert will have, Sony says it will be an audio-visual experience with an innovative multi-screen design with advanced LED and projection technologies that will let you relive some of the most iconic moments in PlayStation history.
