How to Evolve Psyduck in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl
Psyduck, the Psychic Pokémon, is relatively easy to evolve. You just have to raise it to Level 33. From there, it will automatically evolve into Golduck. If that level seems a bit high to you, then it’s time to work on quickly raising those levels.
Of course, you can keep it with you while you journey around the region. Although all Pokémon share EXP, it is always helpful to use Psyduck in battles. So, don’t skip encounters. It can seem a bit like grinding, but any EXP gain helps when you’re trying to raise their level so you can evolve them.
Also, to evolve Psyduck in Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, consider taking them to some rematches. With the Vs. Seeker item, you can go after some of the trainers you already fought. Just keep in mind that this won’t work for trainers in caves or buildings.
If you’ve defeated the game and still haven’t evolved Psyduck yet, then you can always hit up the Elite Four and the Champion for rematches. This works if you maybe put Psyduck on the backburner or perhaps only recently caught one.

- Search Great Marsh Area 1 (very rare)
- Great Marsh Area 2 (very rare)
- Search Great Marsh Area 3 (very rare)
- Great Marsh Area 4 (very rare)
- Look within Great Marsh Area 6 (very rare)
- Lake Acuity (common morning/day | uncommon night)
- Lake Valor (uncommon)
- Oreburgh Gate B1F (common)
- Ravaged Path (Super Rare)
In the Grand Underground, search in the following areas:
- Fountainspring Cave
- Riverbank Cave
- Spacious Cave
- Still-Water Cavern
