During the annual Adventure Week event in Pokemon Go, players roam and explore more than normal, with an emphasis on catching fossil Pokemon. The amount of XP earned from PokeStops is increased, and the time it takes for an egg to hatch is cut in half. That sounds all good and well, but more users are wondering, with this fossil Pokemon priority, if they can get a Shiny prehistoric Pokemon easier? Since they appear more often, Shiny appearances also increase. So that is why we will show you today how to get a Shiny Kabuto in Pokemon Go!
Getting a Shiny Kabuto in Pokemon Go
(Updated on August 8, 2024 – updated links and formatting)
Kabuto is generally a relatively rare sight in Pokemon GO. But because of its increased spawn rate, players can spot it in a few different locales when playing the game. These include lakes, beaches, rivers, and areas that are all located near bodies of water. It can also be found around wide spaces, such as fields or farms. Huge commercial structures, parking garages, and quarries are good as well.
Kabuto can still spawn in these sorts of regions outside of the Adventure Week event, although at a significantly lower rate. Trainers will have a better chance of spawning this Pokemon if they can quickly go to a couple of these recommended wet, rocky spots. These higher numbers are good for catching Shiny Kabutos.
Fortunately, players may raise a shiny Kabuto spawn rate even further by using Incense and Pokestop Lures. Preferably, trainers would use Magnetic or Rainy Lures to reach maximum efficiency.
Unfortunately, walking around with 7km eggs will not provide users with any advantages, as it usually does during these events. Kabuto does not hatch during 2022’s Adventure Week, so try to use as many Lures and Incense as you can! Also, be prepared with plenty of high-quality PokeBalls, in case he jumps out in front of you unexpectedly.
