Even though Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and the Paldea region debuted just a year ago, some new Pokemon have already made their way to the world of Pokemon Go. And while the cute but mighty starters from the Paldea region have received most of the attention, be careful not to miss the little grasshopper-like Nymble. While a relatively weak bug-type Pokemon, Nymble can evolve into a strong bug and dark-type Pokemon, Lokix. However, players are interested in something else. All want to know where and how to catch Nymble and if it can be a Shiny in Pokemon Go. Here, you will find the answer.

How To Catch Nymble in Pokemon Go

To catch Nymble in Pokemon Go, you must participate in the Ultra Unlock: Paldea Event and find this Pokemon in the wild. Hurry up because this event will only last from 10:00 AM September 10, 2023, until 8:00 PM September 15, 2023, Local Time. So you have little time to add Nymble and Lokix, its second evolutionary form, to your collection.

Since this is the debut event for Nymble, you can find dozens of these Pokemon in any region and habitat in the wild. Just walk along the street to catch a few grasshopper pocket monsters. However, you can always increase your chances of success by using Pokemon spawn boosters. Use Incense while walking and the Lure Module if you decide to rest. In addition, Nymble loves rainy weather, so walking at this time will bring you a lot of encounters with Nymble.

It is worth noting that it is not yet known when Nymble will return to the Pokemon Go world after the end of Ultra Unlock: Paldea. We will probably see it more than once in the wild, as a 1-star or 3-star boss, a Pokemon from an egg, or as a reward for Research Tasks. But for now, we advise getting the most out of the current event.

Is Shiny Nymble in Pokemon Go?

Unfortunately, Nymble and Lokix can’t be shiny in Pokemon Go. Of course, many players could hope for this after catching Shiny Lechonk. This Pokemon is also a pocket monster native to the Paldea region and received a shiny version at the same time as the debut of the classic form of the Pokemon, but this is an exception to the rule. We’ll probably have to wait at least a year until we get Shiny Nymble and Lokix. But probably, some thematic events, such as the Bug Out Event, may please us with the unique Nymble coloring much faster.
