So how do you get Shadow Ball and Psystrike Attacks for Mewtwo in Pokemon Go? Mewtwo is a powerful Psychic-type Legendary Pokémon with powerful attacks. Catching a Mewtwo with Shadow Ball and Psystrike during hunting is almost impossible, but during the TCG event, anything is possible. Mewtwo has started spawning in raid halls more often, and you can get one or more of them if you have strong Pokemon. Our guide aims to help you and tell you how to get Shadow Ball and Psystrike Attacks for Mewtwo.

How to Get Shadow Ball and Psystrike Attacks for Mewtwo in Pokemon GO

(Updated on August 8, 2024 – updated links and format)

As we said earlier, to get Mewtwo with unique attacks, you need to go to the raid on this Pokémon. By defeating Mewtwo, you will receive it in your collection and can use it in further battles. But not everything is as simple as it seems at first glance.

Primarily, Mewtwo is a very strong Pokémon, so before challenging him, gather a team of trainers. Also, do not forget that Mewtwo is a Psychic-type Pokemon, so when entering a battle with him, use Pokemon with Dark, Ghost, and Bug attacks. In addition, you can get Mewtwo with Shadow Ball and Psystrike attacks at only certain times:

  • Mewtwo with Shadow Ball attack. Attend 5-Star Raid from June 16th at 10:00 AM local time to June 23rd, at 10:00 AM local time.
  • Mewtwo with Psystrike attack. Attend 5-Star Raid from June 23rd, at 10:00 AM local time to July 1st at 10:00 AM local time.

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to get a Mewtwo with both attacks. But on the other hand, the TCG event will last a very long time, so you will have enough time to assemble a strong team and get several different Mewtwo. The TCG event is a treasure for strong players. With some time raid and assembling a team of trainers, you can get as many Legendary Pokémon as you want.
