If you’re unsure whether to participate in the upcoming event, this Pokemon Go Solstice Horizons event guide has got you covered. One of the most exciting aspects of Pokemon Go is the events held throughout the year. These events allow players to catch rare Pokemon, participate in particular challenges, and earn unique rewards. During events, players can also enjoy bonuses such as increased XP, Stardust, and Candy for catching Pokemon and access to unique research stories. The upcoming Solstice Horizon is no exception to this rule. In fact, it brings even more exciting bonuses and catches for Poke trainers.

Pokémon GO Solstice Horizons Overview

The Solstice Horizons event is a limited-time event in Pokemon Go that runs from Friday, June 16, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. During this event, players can participate in Special Research by opening Pokemon Go between June 16 and June 25. The event features Pokemon associated with day and night, so players can take the opportunity to see what Pokemon are active during their favorite times

All Day Wild Encounters in Solstice Horizons Event

During the Solstice Horizons event in Pokemon Go, players can encounter different Pokemon during the day and night. Some Pokemon like Lunatone and Solrock will appear in the wild regardless of time.

These are the Pokemon that will spawn more often during the day: 

  • Chikorita
  • Hoothoot
  • Ledyba
  • Sunkern
  • Wooper

All Night Wild Encounters in Solstice Horizons

These are the Pokemon that will spawn more often during the night: 

  • Oddish
  • Spinarak
  • Misdreavus
  • Lunatone
  • Stunky
  • Venipede
  • Foongus
  • Phantump

All Pokemon GO Solstice Event Bonuses

The Solstice Horizons event in Pokemon Go has several bonuses players can enjoy. These are all the event bonuses:

  • 2x Stardust for catching Pokemon
  • 2x XP for catching Pokemon
  • 2x Candy for catching Pokemon
  • 2x XP for evolving Pokemon
  • 2x XP for hatching Eggs

The Solstice Horizons event in Pokemon Go features rare Pokemon spawns and raid bosses, and particular Field Research tasks for players to complete, earn rewards and encounter Pokemon. Solstice Horizons-themed Field Research tasks will be available during the event. Completing these tasks will reward players with various items, but most importantly, Cosmog.

Is the Solstice Horizons Bundle Worth It?

The Solstice Horizons event in Pokemon Go also includes a special bundle that players can purchase from the Pokemon Go Web Store. The bundle includes the following items:
