As much as walking around while playing Pokemon Go is fun, most people play to collect as many powerful Pokemon as possible. But you cannot go on a raid to get yourself a five-star Pokemon. Before that, you must know what the Pokemon weakness is and which Pokemon you should bring with you. Gardevoir is one of these Pokemon, and here is its weakness in Pokemon Go.

Gardevoir Weakness in Pokemon Go

Gardevoir is a Psychic and Fair-type Pokemon which means its weaknesses are Poison, Steel, and Ghost-type moves. Gardevoir will take up to 160% damage from any of these attacks. But bear in mind that Gardevoir is resistant to Dragon and Fighting-type up to 39.1% and 62.5% to Psychic-type moves.

The best option for facing Gardevoir is Mega Gengar, despite being weak against Gardevoir’s Psychic move. Mega Beedrill is also another great option to use against this Pokemon. If you prefer using Steel-type, then Metagross is the best option in his Shadow and Non-Shadow forms. Genesect and Dialga are also great options for facing Gardevoir.

In the case of Ghost–type, it is best to use Chandelure and Origin Form Giratina. Also, it would make your hustle much easier if you bring a friend or two with you to raid against Gardevoir. Here is a list of the best counters to use against Gardevoir:

  • Mega Gengar – Lick, Shadow Ball
  • Mega Beedrill – Poison Jab. Sludge Bomb
  • Metagross – Bullet Punch, Meteor Mash
  • Mega Steelix – Iron Tail, Heavy Slam
  • Dialga – Metal Claw, Iron Head
  • Genesect – Metal Claw, Magnet Bomb
  • Shadow Scizor – Bullet Punch, Iron Head
  • Excadrill – Metal Claw, Iron Head
  • Chandelure – Hex, Shadow Ball
  • Origin Form Giratina – Shadow Claw, Shadow Ball
  • Shadow Mewtwo – Psycho Cut, Shadow Ball
  • Gengar – Lick, Shadow Ball
  • Unbound Hoopa – Astonish, Shadow Ball

Pokemon Go is available for Android and iOS devices.
