So what are Snorlax’s weaknesses in Pokemon Go? Snorlax is a strong Normal-type Pokémon. This big guy sleeps nearly all the time and can fall asleep even during a fight. But be careful because he only becomes powerful in a dream, and his attacks do more damage. Sleep is Snorlax’s main strength, but he also has weaknesses. Like any other Normal-type Pokémon, Snorlax is weak against Fighting-type Pokémon. More specifically, he takes increased damage from fighting-type attacks. Fighting-type is Snorlax’s only weakness, so check if one of your fighters is proficient with fighting-type attacks before engaging in combat. And to make it easier for you, in our guide, we will talk in more detail about the weaknesses of Snorlax and what Pokemon to use against him.

What is Snorlax’s Weakness in Pokemon Go

Snorlax is a large, fat Pokémon that sleeps almost all of its life. Getting this Pokemon into your collection is not difficult, and there are two ways to do it:

  • Catch it in the wild. But the spawn chance is very little.
  • Evolve from Munchlax. These babies spawn in the world quite often.

Since Snorlax can be strong and not hard to get, he can be found all over the training gyms.

That is why it is worth knowing how to counter Snorlax. During the battle, in no case do not use Ghost Pokémon, as their attacks will hardly harm this Pokémon. But fighting-type Pokemon is a different matter. Next, we have prepared a list of the necessary Pokemon and attacks needed to defeat Snorlax:

  • Pheromosa: Low Kick, Focus Blast.
  • Lucario: Counter, Aura Sphere.
  • Pheromosa: Low Kick, Close Combat.
  • Urshifu: Counter, Dynamic Punch.
  • Conkeldurr: Counter, Dynamic Punch.
  • Breloom: Counter, Dynamic Punch.
  • Machamp: Counter, Dynamic Punch.
  • Blaziken: Counter, Focus Blast.
  • Sirfetch’d: Counter, Close Combat.
  • Buzzwole: Counter, Superpower.
  • Meloetta: Low Kick, Close Combat.
  • Heracross: Counter, Close Combat.
  • Alakazam: Counter, Focus Blast.
  • Toxicroak: Counter, Dynamic Punch.
  • Hariyama: Counter, Dynamic Punch.
  • Buzzwole: Counter, Power-Up Punch.

These are all the best Pokemon and attacks against Snorlax. If you don’t have any of these, you can use any other Pokémon with a Fighting-type of attack.

Pokemon GO is available on iOS and Android.
