Pokémon Scarlet and Violet introduce new Pokemons, wild areas, and new game mechanics. One of the new mechanics is the TM Machine. The TM Machine is a device that allows you to create (specialized machines) that teach your Pokémon new moves. In this guide, we’re going to show you how the TM Machine works in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

What is the TM Machine in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?

Pokémon players will find a new addition in the form of the TM Machine. As the name suggests, this machine allows you to create TMs. You will see these TM machines installed in Pokémon Centers. There are several ways to acquire TMs, including by acquiring League Points or items found after battling wild Pokémon. The latter is a new feature in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that will come in handy for those who often find themselves running out of TMs. So be sure to keep an eye out for the TM Machine when exploring the game!

How does the TM Machine work with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?

TM Machine uses League points you earned by completing specific tasks or missions in the game. You can also get TMs from battling wild Pokémon, and You can use these TMs to teach your Pokémon new moves. Here is the step-by-step guide on how you should create TMs.

  1. Go to any Pokémon Centre in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
  2. Look for the TM Machine and interact with it.
  3. A menu will pop up, and choose the TM you want to create from there.
  4. You will be asked to insert the League points you want to use for creating the TM.
  5. Once the TM is created, it will be stored in your Item Bag.
