Finizen is an adorable Water-type Dolphin Pokemon you’re bound to encounter while exploring theย seashores of Paldea. Since it spawns on over 80% of the ocean areas around the world map, it’s hard to miss this cute porpoise. While Finizen’s evolution inย Pokemon Scarlet and Violetย is not very unique other than having a heart added to its belly, Trainers might want to evolve it to complete their Pokedex. The primary challenge with this evolution, though, is that it involves the help of other Trainers, aka players.
How To Evolve Finizen Into Palafin
You can only evolve Finizen into Palafin in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet through Co-Op Mode:
- Level up your Finizen to 37 or higher.
- Go to any Pokemon center and join a Union Circle session.
- Invite a friend or two join your session.
- Level upย Finizen by battling or using XP Candy.
- Your Finizen will evolve into Palafin when it hits Level 38.
If your Finizen is already at Level 38 or higher, it’ll evolve the next time it levels up.
Now, let’s suppose you don’t have friends to join you or don’t know anyone to enter Co-Op Mode with you in-game. In that case, we recommend you join a Discord server forย Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Next, head to an appropriate channel where trading and other co-op activities take place and request an invite with your Link Code.ย
Once someone joins you, simply level up your Finizen to have it evolve into Finizen into Palafin inย Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Unfortunately, there’s very little reason to have Palafin in your party since it’s a less-than-ideal pick for Tera Raids or PvP Trainer battles. Still, if you’re a fan of a cute, heart-bellied Dolphin accompanying you on your Paldean travels, then Finizen’s evolution is an excellent companion.
