Do you want to know where to get the Destiny Knot in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have brought a number of new things to the popular franchise, including the open world of Paldea.

Traversing the open world of Paldea, you will find many valuable items, such as a twisted spoon, among others. Destiny Knot is an item that is used primarily for breeding, but it also can be used during battle. However, since it is an extremely useful item, it is also extremely rare in the game.

What is Destiny Knot?

Destiny Knot is a held item tied to the breeding mechanic in the game. When a Pokemon holding Destiny Knot lays an egg, the baby Pokémon will inherit five of the twelve IVs from its parents. This will give you a strong baby Pokemon that can maybe win you a World Championship. When bred in regular terms, a baby Pokemon gets only three IVs from its parents.

Moreover, when your Pokemon becomes infatuated with the Pokemon, if it holds Destiny Knot, the other Pokemon will also become infatuated.

Where to Get the Destiny Knot in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Destiny Knot in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet can only be obtained through the Delibirds Presents shop center. There is only one Delibird Presents shop that has this item.

You need to go to Mesagoza, it is the westernmost Delibirds shop in the game. Once you get there, you will need to pay 20,000 PokeDollars for this one-of-a-kind item.

However, you won’t find the item if you get there too early in your story. You need to defeat a bunch of gym leaders to unlock Destiny Knot in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Nevertheless, once you unlock it, you will be able to buy as many as you want since there is no limit to how many Destiny Knots you can have.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available on Nintendo Switch.
