Precious Hand is a rare Shadow in the Tartarus Arqa zone in Persona 3 Reload. Like other rare Shadows, it prefers to run away than fight, so you need to defeat it quickly before it can escape. That is why you must attack its vulnerable points at the first turn so you can stun this Shadow and prevent it from fleeing. That said, we will explain Precious Hand’s weakness and the best tactics to use to beat this Shadow.

How To Beat Precious Hand in Persona 3 Reload

You can beat Precious Hand by attacking its elemental weakness, which is Dark or Eiga. The protagonist‘s original Persona, Orpheus, does not have this magic skill. So, you must use another Persona or grant it the ability via a Skill Card.

Here are Precious Hand’s weaknesses and resistances in Persona 3 Reload:

  • Weakness: Dark
  • Resist: None
  • Repel: None
  • Null: None

The only team member who can use Dark magic is Koromaru. Unfortunately, the loyal dog will join SEES much later in the game, so you cannot use him the first time you encounter and beat Precious Hand in Persona 3 Reload.

Like other rare Shadows, Precious Hand has high evasion and a high chance of dodging your Physical attacks. In order to avoid this problem, you can cast the Sukunda support skill to reduce the enemy’s evasion rate.

Once you have knocked out Precious Hand by attacking its weakness, you can perform an All-Out Attack to deal massive damage to the enemy. Do note that sometimes regular Shadows will accompany this creature, so you must stun all of them before you can perform this deadly move.

When you face Precious Hand in Persona 3 Reload, you usually have two turns before the enemy escapes. Unlike regular Shadows, this monster will not attack and only wait for an opening. That is why you must find a way to attack its weakness and beat this creature within two turns.

I highly recommend sneaking behind Precious Hand so you can get an advantage at the start of the battle. This will allow your whole team to attack first before the enemy in Persona 3 Reload. The protagonist is usually the first person to attack, allowing him to exploit Precious Hand’s weakness. But, if another member is the first one to have their turn, you can consider throwing an Elemental Gem to launch a magical attack on the enemy.
