Prepare to return to manage your fantasy armies in the upcoming Primal Fury content pack for Age of Wonders 4. After forging our way with blood and steel in the latest Empires & Ashes DLC, it is time to get attuned to the elements and summon primal forces to help us conquer the realm. Like previous content packs, this one brings a new Primal Culture with many Primal Animals to choose from. Perfect for those wanting a druid-like army in the game.

Age of Wonders 4: Primal Fury Launches on February 27, 2024

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to return to the lands of Age of Wonders 4, Primal Fury is the perfect reason to do it. With its launch less than a month away, players can expect a plethora of content, such as the following:

  • New Culture
    • Primal Culture: Embrace the elements and choose one of seven Primal Animals. Each animal can change biomes and provide players with powerful terrain bonuses.
  • New Quests
    • New missions tailored to each Primal Animal with great rewards, such as new physical forms for your armies.
  • New Tomes of Magic
    • Tome of Fey Mists
    • Tome of the Stormborne
  • 4 New Mounts
  • 6 New Wildlife Units
  • Free Wolf Update
    • Besides the new content, all players can enjoy the Wolf Update for free. It brings a necromancy rework, new randomly generated items, and war bounty.

Anyone who owns the game’s premium edition will have instant access to the Primal Fury DLC. However, those who want to buy the content pack separately can get it for $9.99.
