Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have launched a new website in a surprising turn of events. The couple launched the website on Monday, using their regal titles – the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Recall that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved away from the title in 2020 when their “Sussex Royal” became a topic of debate at Buckingham Palace. However, Harry and Markle have reclaimed their royal identities. According to reports, the new website will bring more personal updates about the Duke and Duchess’ activities.
Harry and Meghan Relaunch New Website
When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot, they began operating under the “Sussex Royal” brand. The pair began sharing updates on Instagram using the SussexRoyal handle and even used a website with that same domain. However, when they stepped down from their Royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan decided to drop the “Sussex Royal” moniker. Nearly four years later, it seems like the reconnecting phase has begun in earnest. On Monday, Harry and Meghan attempted a royal rebrand by launching a sleek new version of their website called Sussex.com
Harry and Meghan’s new website replaces their former website, archewell.com, and features their royal coat of arms titled, “The office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.” The new website also serves as a hub for the Archewell Foundation, their Archewell Productions, and updates about the couple. Moreover, it features brand-new biographies of both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Royal Commentator Talks About the Website Relaunch
Since Harry and Meghan launched the new website, many have questioned the intentions behind the couple’s actions. In a report, Royal Commentator Daniela Elser reminded the public of how Harry and Meghan criticized the royal institution. According to her, it made no sense that the same individuals would go to great lengths to reassert their membership in the same institution. She claimed that Harry and Meghan hoped the world would forget everything they said and did. However, according to her, it was far-fetched. Some fans couldn’t agree more, as they noted that no matter what Harry and Meghan did, they would never consider them as Royal Family members.
