While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue attempting to grow their empire of subpar Netflix specials and jams with poor taste, there is a growing concern that they are putting their lowly success at the expense of their children. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are still too young to understand the intricacies of what it means to be a royal descendant. However, one day, when the two grow older, they will eventually realize how “they have been deprived of what might have been a fun and meaningful existence in the UK” as the King’s grandchildren.
Per the Mirror, royal expert Tom Quinn states that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “have to bear the brunt of the responsibility” and blame when their children realize their grandpa and uncle were kings but “hardly knew or met them.” And at what cost? Some failed jam business, a memoir that tore apart the Royal Family, and a disappointing endeavor to become celebrities in a country that isn’t their own? The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have to answer to a grown Archie and Lilibet someday about these intentionally made poor decisions.
The Royal Family Is Already “Very United” Without Harry and Mehgan, Possibly Spelling Doom for Their Children’s Lives as Royals
Royal correspondent Russell Myers has told the Mirror that,
They’re going to [have to] sort of realise, if they’re going to have a relationship with the rest of the Royal Family, they can’t go about trashing them.”

Myers continues,
“They can’t go about making money off their associations with the Royal Family, hopefully, they’ll see that the Royal Family are very united without them and if they do want a relationship, going forward, they need to take the steam out of their relationship and out of the things they say sometimes.”

It’s hopeful to hear that two solutions might be the key to mending the rift between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with the Royal Family. Evidently, profiting off their previous titles and trashing the monarchy’s name are things the ex-royals have already done. So, the rogue couple would need to take some actions that would undo the harm they caused, although former royal butler Grant Harrold believes the damage is “irreparable.”
Whatever the case, one can only hope the Duchess and Duke of Sussex will come to their senses and make the proper changes, not for themselves, but for the sake of their children. After all, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will eventually desire to have a strong relationship with their royal family members while also being able to be proud of their royal heritage.
