Since the beginning of the Palisades wildfire devastation in Los Angeles, California, countless celebrities and general socialites have come together to find ways to provide relief to the general masses. Jennifer Garner was just recently found helping feed victims of the fire after having been notified that a dear friend of hers had passed away in the flames. Now, royals Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been spotted assessing the fire’s devastation in Eaton to see how they can help with relief efforts. The couple spent over 45 minutes taking in everything they could as they spoke with city officials and Pasadena major Victor Gordo.
The raging Palisades fire in California reportedly started in someone’s backyard and quickly amounted to what we see today because of an unfortunate bout of intense winds. Alongside many residents, celebrities, including Britney Spears, have been asked to evacuate to ensure they are not trapped inside their homes while the fires pass. The flames have already claimed the lives of 11 people, and hopefully, wealthy individuals such as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle can lend a hand to the relief efforts.
“You see Meghan Markle and Prince Harry there. They’ve made their way there to obviously show face and see what they can do regardless to the relief recovery effort.”
In the above video by Fox News, Victor Gordo can be seen conversing with the royals, most likely discussing the relief efforts currently. Shortly after that, they can then be seen shaking hands and going their separate ways, to which the news station pulls the major aside to ask him questions. He was very clear that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were not there for publicity reasons but to genuinely find ways to help victims of the fire.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are known for giving up their royal status in 2020 in favor of a less public lifestyle. Unfortunately, the limelight continues to follow them, with their most recent bout of publicity coming from an episode of The Traitors where Lord Ivar Mountbatten brought up the couple. Regardless, I’m interested in seeing exactly how the two plan to lend a hand to the fire victims after this meeting.
