Prince Harry is considered “brainwashed” by his ambitious wife as he struggles to determine his next move following the Invictus Games. Since launching the Invictus Games in 2014, the Duke of Susses has valiantly promoted the athletic event, bringing wounded veterans worldwide together in the spirit of sports, and giving them a new purpose. This initiative has come to be regarded as the Prince’s biggest achievement throughout his royal life. Although Harry has continued to pursue other projects outside the games, like his Netflix shows and public speaking efforts, the Invictus Games undoubtedly remains the dearest to his heart, so much so that the end of every gaming season takes its toll on him each year, at least according to those close to him.
Speaking to RadarOnline, one insider discussed the full extent of this dependency on the Invictus Games and how Prince Harry’s wife is taking advantage of that this season as her career takes a hit. According to the source, the Duke seemed to live for the game every year, making him feel somewhat empty when it finally came and went. The insider claimed,
“When it’s over, it leaves a void, and this year was no exception.”
Prince Harry Shifts Focus to Meghan Markle in California After Vancouver Trip

Prince Harry, joined by his wife Meghan Markle attended the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver, Canada last month, which ran for eight days, from February 8th to February 16th. While Meghan Markle had to leave Canada for California earlier to spend time with their kids Archie and Lilibeth whom they left back home, Prince Harry stayed back until the final round, receiving resounding praises from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as well as spectators and participants who felt fulfilled after the event.
Then came the time of reckoning. The Due of Sussex had to journey back home to California to reunite with his wife after spending Valentine’s Day apart due to the games in Vancouver. However, this homecoming has not exactly been the romantic ride one may envision. The insider revealed that as with every year, “Prince Harry didn’t know what to do with himself” upon his return to California after the Invictus Games.
Meghan Markle Exploits Prince in Her American Hustle

With Prince Harry at his wits’ end, his wife Meghan Markle found the perfect opportunity to swoop in, keeping him busy with her life. The source explained how the Duchess of Sussex’s latest career stand with her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, and her new lifestyle brand, As Ever, puts her in a more desperate situation, requiring Harry’s intervention more than ever. As a result, Harry has to bend over backwards to please his wife as she scales through her make-or-break moment. The insider claimed,
“She’s got everyone hustling. It’s all about Meghan now.”
In her typical Meghan fashion, the Suits alum has made a big show out of it, documenting every Instagram-worthy moment of her California life on her relaunched page. The insider revealed that Prince Harry was completely on board with the idea of being used in fulfillment of his wife’s showbiz ambitions, adding,
“She seems to have him under her spell. Some might even go as fas as to say it’s like he’s brainwashed.”
Harry Braces Himself For Immigration Blow

Backing the claim, the source cited Prince Harry and his wife’s repeated PDAs, which stole the show in Vancouver, nearly making the Invictus Games into “a Meghan Markle Show.” The insider explained how, after nearly eight years together in marriage, the UK prince remained completely smitten with his American wife and had intense physical attraction to her. This has invariably put Harry in a position where his wife ends up calling the shots in their marriage, more like her loyal “servant.” Even worse, Harry endures this “dictated” life with his wife while dealing with overhanging problems of his own.
Most notably, Prince Harry is bracing himself for the final verdict regarding his visa application dispute, which could determine his future in California. Earlier this week, Washington Judge Carl Nichols ordered the Department of Homeland Security to release the redacted version of the Duke’s US visa application records. This decree followed a lawsuit filed by the think-tank group Heritage Foundation, demanding that these records be made public to determine whether Harry lied about drug use in his visa application. If proven that there were indeed discrepancies in the immigration records, the Duke of Sussex may face deportation from the US, although the chances of this happening are slim.
